MINSK, 17 November (BelTA) – The first unit of the Belarusian nuclear power plant has been disconnected from the power grid, the Belarusian Energy Ministry press service told BelTA.
According to the source, automatic devices disconnected the first unit of the Belarusian nuclear power plant from the power grid at 10:33 on 17 November. Specialists are carrying out diagnostics and analyzing the operation of technological systems.
Background radiation levels at the nuclear power plant and in the observation area are normal.
