MINSK, 12 July (BelTA) – The output of the second unit of the Belarusian nuclear power plant has been raised to 100% for dynamic trials, the press service of the Belarusian Energy Ministry told BelTA.
This stage has been completed as part of the unit's pilot commercial operation program. The second unit of the Belarusian nuclear power plant has increased its power level to 100% for the sake of undergoing dynamic trials, the press service said.
Specialists will take a broad range of measurements. As part of the process the unit will also be unloaded and parameters of the equipment will be evaluated before performance testing at nominal power levels begins.
