The experience of recruiting personnel for building the Belarusian nuclear power plant will be presented at the international industrial forum ATOMEXPO 2013. The forum will take place in Saint Petersburg, Russia on 26-28 June, representatives of the organizing committee told BelTA.
The report on the Belarusian experience will be presented at the roundtable session focused on preparing personnel for building, installing, tuning equipment, and launching nuclear power plants in beginner countries. Another Belarusian report will be delivered as part of the roundtable session on scientific and technical capabilities and prospects in environmental protection.
The plenary session on nuclear power engineering in the 21st century, namely responsible partnership for sustainable development will take place on 26 June. IAEA Deputy Director General Alexander Bychkov, President of the Japan Atomic Industry Forum Takuya Hattori and other persons will take part in it.
The forum ATOMEXPO 2013 will become an international venue where delegates will gather for roundtable sessions and symposiums to discuss a number of topics. The number includes international nuclear law, nuclear industry education, environmental protection, international manufacturing cooperation in nuclear fuel cycle, and public acceptability of nuclear energy.
Thematic showrooms will be arranged to demonstrate achievements of global leaders of the nuclear power engineering industry in various branches of business, science, and manufacturing. Last year the forum ATOMEXPO gathered over 4,000 participants from 53 countries in Moscow.
The international industrial forum ATOMEXPO 2013 will take place prior to the biggest nuclear industry event – the international ministerial conference Nuclear Power in the 21st Century, which will take place in Saint Petersburg, Russia on 27-29 June.
