MINSK, 9 March (BelTA) - The first unit of the Belarusian nuclear power plant (BelNPP) was reconnected to the power grid at 2.14 on 8 March following the scheduled maintenance work, envisaged at the stage of pilot operation, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Energy Ministry.
The reactor unit power level is being increased.
“In accordance with the program of the pilot operation stage, system and equipment testing, as well as routine work will continue at the first unit. So far, 259 out of 394 planned tests have been successfully completed,” the press service said.
