Construction works worth RUB8bn planned on Belarus NPP construction in 2014

An estimated RUB8 billion worth of building and assembly works will be performed at the construction site of the Belarusian nuclear power plant in 2014, acting Director General of the Belarusian Nuclear Power Plant Company Mikhail Filimonov told media on 20 January, BelTA has learnt.

“Building and assembly works are estimated at RUB8 billion in 2014. It is twice as much as was performed in 2013,” Mikhail Filimonov said. Works worth nearly 80% of the sum will be performed by Belarusian companies, the rest will be implemented by Russians.

According to Mikhail Filimonov, the financing of the project has been rhythmic, problem-free by both Russia and Belarus.
