MINSK, 29 October (BelTA) – The International Atomic Energy Agency's pre-OSART (Operational Safety Review Team) mission has finished working at the Belarusian nuclear power plant site, the press service of the Belarusian Energy Ministry told BelTA.
The head of the expert group Yuri Martynenko thanked the management of the state enterprise Belarusian Nuclear Power Plant for assistance with the mission's work. He said: “Over the course of one week we've thoroughly examined all the measures taken by the Belarusian side upon recommendations and proposals received during the OSART mission in 2019.”
The IAEA mission was arranged as part of the technical cooperation project meant to enhance the operational safety of the Belarusian nuclear power plant during commissioning and operation. Experts from the UK, France, Belgium, Russia, Armenia, and Ukraine worked as part of the mission.
