MINSK, 8 December (BelTA) – Experts of the International Atomic Energy Agency have visited the Belarusian nuclear power plant, BelTA learned from the Belarusian nuclear power plant website.
The IAEA experts are in Belarus as part of a follow-up mission of the International Atomic Energy Agency's Integrated Regulatory Review Service (IRRS). The experts visited the Belarusian nuclear power plant while accompanied by employees of the Nuclear and Radiation Safety Department of the Belarusian Emergencies Ministry (Gosatomnadzor).
During the brief visit the IAEA experts examined facilities and installations of the nuclear power plant. They visited the control room of the first unit of the nuclear power plant and held an interview with interested parties at premises of the Belarusian nuclear power plant.
