MINSK, 11 September (BelTA) - More than 3,000 students have worked at the Belarusian youth construction site at the Belarusian nuclear power plant (BelNPP), official representative of the BRSM Youth Union Central Committee, commander of the National Student Brigade Headquarters Nadezhda Shakhovskaya told BelTA.
“More than 3,000 students have taken part in the Belarusian youth construction site project at the Belarusian nuclear power plant. These were not only Belarusians. Russians also came to us to work on construction sites. This gave young people an opportunity to further develop and bolster ties in the movement, culture, traditions,” Nadezhda Shakhovskaya said. “The number of students participating in the project is constantly on the rise. This year 70 students worked at the BelNPP facilities. We already have the next order for 200 workers.”
According to Nadezhda Shakhovskaya, the student construction brigade movement is developing in Russia and Kazakhstan as well. “We are trying to exchange student teams and share working experience,” she added.
