Russian experts to visit Belarusian nuclear power plant on 23-25 March

MINSK, 21 March (BelTA) – Experts of the Moscow Center of the World Association of Nuclear Operators (WANO MC) will visit the Belarusian nuclear power plant on 23-25 March, the Energy Ministry told BelTA.

The purpose of the visit is to prepare for a corporate peer review by the Moscow Center of the World Association of Nuclear Operators. The peer review is scheduled for September 2022.

During the preliminary visit WANO MC representatives will interview executives and partners from the Belarusian nuclear power plant, will study information about the current state of the production site, and will discuss organizational matters concerning the forthcoming review.
