MINSK, 16 December (BelTA) – The number of people, who visited the information center of the Belarusian nuclear power plant in 2022, rose by more than a third, the Belarusian Energy Ministry press service told BelTA.
2022 saw about 3,500 people come to the information center of the Belarusian nuclear power plant, 35% up from 2021.
The visitor groups included workers of enterprises and organizations belonging to various branches of the economy, representatives of ministries, government agencies, and public organizations, foreign delegations from over 15 countries, including Russia, Kazakhstan, China, and Vietnam. Students of secondary schools and higher education institutions, young specialists made up a significant part of the total number of visitors. It demonstrably proves the interest of young people in matters concerning the development of the nuclear energy industry in Belarus, the Energy Ministry press service said.
