MINSK, 27 April (BelTA) – Experts of the Moscow center of the World Association of Nuclear Operators (WANO) are carrying out a technical support mission at the Belarusian nuclear power plant on 26-30 April, BelTA learned from the nuclear power plant's website.
Goals of the mission include sharing and studying the best practices in matters concerning the organization of workstation inspections and work oversight. The expert group includes highly qualified specialists of Rosenergoatom Concern and experts of WANO's Moscow center.
BelTA reported earlier that WANO experts carried out a technical support mission on 5-13 April in order to evaluate the operational readiness of the second unit of the Belarusian nuclear power plant.
