Belarusian nuclear power plant permitted to import nuclear fuel
The Emergencies Ministry has decided in favor of amending the nuclear energy use license of the state enterprise Belarusian Nuclear Power Plant. The amendment is focused on the handling of fresh nuclear fuel in the course of its storage and transportation.

Hot trials of first reactor of Belarusian nuclear power plant over
Hot trials began on 11 December 2019. As many as 242 various tests have been held since then. Their main purpose was to confirm the compliance of the nuclear island's systems and equipment with design specifications during operation at nominal parameters, during warming-up and cooling-down of the reactor unit before the nuclear reactor power startup.

COVID-19 test results of Russian workers at Belarusian nuclear power plant to be rechecked
According to the minister, about 100 people at the Belarusian nuclear power plant construction site are now being observed by medics or are in isolation. Those are Russian workers and first-tier contacts. “Clarification diagnostics is in progress because some of the test systems produce different results,” the official noted.
