Minsk City Hall invites Chinese partners to partake in “smart city” project
The Minsk City Hall is interested in the implementation of the Belarusian-Chinese joint telecom project at the Minsk-based company MTIS. The project aims to create the “smart city” system. Minsk authorities are also planning to implement a project to develop a transport security system with video surveillance in Minsk together with Chinese partners.

Academies of Sciences of Belarus, China sign landmark cooperation agreement

Thirteen big Chinese companies to become residents of Great Stone park
Such big Chinese corporations as Huawei and ZTE have already been registered as the park’s residents. “We have also signed 13 letters of intent with other large Chinese companies,” Andrei Gal said. He stressed that the park has all tools to become a platform for raising the inflow of investment and advanced technologies to the Belarusian economy.

Belarus’ Communications Ministry, China Development Bank, Huawei to cooperate in IT sector
The Belarusian Ministry of Communications and Information Technologies, the China Development Bank, and Huawei Technologies have agreed to develop cooperation in information and communication technologies. The relevant memorandum was signed during the Belarus-China interregional business forum in Minsk on 11 May, BelTA has learned.

China to encourage its hi-tech companies to join China-Belarus Industrial Park
China will encourage Chinese hi-tech companies to join the Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park. The decision is laid down in the Belarusian-Chinese joint declaration on further development and strengthening of all-round strategic partnership that President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko and China President Xi Jinping signed in Minsk on 10 May, BelTA informs.

Technical aid from China for electrification of China-Belarus Industrial Park
The source said that the project for building electric networks in the primary development area of the Great Stone park including the construction of a 110/10kV substation is being implemented in accordance with the relevant Belarusian-Chinese intergovernmental agreement. “The technical economic aid will be about ¥150 million or about $24 million,” said the source. It will be granted to the Minsk city electrical company Minskenergo.
