Vladimir Gusakov said: “Today we are going to discuss the creation of a new satellite for the remote sensing of the Earth. It should be created in 2-3 years at most because the old satellite's service life will end at that time.”

Belarus to push for innovative products in Eurasian Economic Union
The session was focused on scientific and technical cooperation as the foundation of Eurasian economic integration. Igor Petrishenko pointed out the importance of practical implementation of the idea to create Eurasian technology platforms that will enable manufacturing cooperation in the sphere of science, technology, and innovations. Russian space agency, NASB to discuss creation of Earth remote sensing satellite
According to the press service, a Roscosmos delegation led by the agency's head Igor Komarov is expected to visit the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus next week. Negotiations will be held on 23 June to discuss new avenues of cooperation in space exploration and the creation of an advanced satellite for the remote sensing of the Earth in ultrahigh resolution.

Belarusian, Russian scientists to study human DNA in new Union State program
Alexander Kilchevsky noted: “The idea for the program was born over two years ago. Belarusian and Russian scientists boast rich experience of studying human genetics. This is why after talking to our colleagues — the General Genetics Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences — we have decided to put together such a Union State program,” he noted.
