Belarus’ Hi-Tech Park can export $1bn worth of services in 2016
The Hi-Tech Park administration director said that the export of computer services per capita totaled $74 in Belarus in 2015, which is a very good figure. “Apart from that, four of our resident companies are in the world’s top 100 outsourcing companies. About one billion people in 150 countries use Belarusian mobile apps,” he said.

Around 100 applications registered for Skolkovo startup tour in Minsk
“Belarus is hosting a leg of the Skolkovo Russian Startup Tour for the second year in a row. As many as 100 applications have been registered this year, and 55 of them passed the selection. These are the most elaborate projects,” the SSTC Chairman explained. He pointed out that around 35% of the projects target information technologies.

Belarus, Russia set up joint engineering company to develop machine tool industry
“In late 2015, jointly with the Russian Industry and Trade Ministry we decided to set up an engineering company that would combine the capacities of Belarusian and Russian machine tool manufacturers. The company has been established. Now it is taking inventory of the Belarusian and Russian enterprises,” Gennady Svidersky explained.
