As part of the project to build the power transfer system new 330kV overhead power lines as long as 1,032.5km need to be built while 672.4km of 110-330kV existing power lines need to be reconstructed.

Belarusian nuclear power plant’s first reactor to get fuel in Q1 2019
According to preliminary calculations, fuel will be loaded into the active zone of the first power-generating unit in Q1 2019. The process takes about 10-15 days. Fuel will be delivered to the Belarusian nuclear power plant in late 2018, said Anatoly Bondar.

Belarus, Russia agree on reactor pressure vessel for second unit of Ostrovets nuclear power plant
The second unit of the Belarusian nuclear power plant will get the reactor pressure vessel initially intended for the Baltic nuclear power plant, which is located in Russia’s Kaliningrad Oblast. The schedule for commissioning the Belarusian nuclear power plant’s second unit will be not be affected. The reactor is expected to go online in 2020.
