Belarus PM calls for close oversight over EEU common gas, oil market concept development
Andrei Kobyakov said: “I suggest paying close attention to progress in shaping the industrial policy, in particular, the drafting of the main guidelines for industrial cooperation within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union. I believe it is important to oversee progress in preparing the concepts for the common markets of gas, oil, and oil products as well as the readiness to launch the common markets of medications and medical products as from 1 January 2016.”

Belarus gets observer status in WWER Regulators’ Forum
Belarus was granted the observer status at the 22nd session of the WWER Regulators’ Forum which was held in Yerevan on 2-4 September. The Belarusian delegation was led by head of Gosatomnadzor Olga Lugovskaya.

Heavy investment in upgrading Belarusian oil refineries
About $2 billion will be allocated for modernizing OAO Naftan and Mozyr Oil Refinery. The information was released by Vitaly Pavlov, Deputy Chairman of the Belarusian petrochemical concern Belneftekhim, during the press conference held on 2 September to mark Oil Industry Worker’s Day, BelTA has learned.

Belarus supplies 614,000 tonnes of gasoline to Russia since early 2015
In accordance with the agreement between the two countries, Russia delivers oil to Belarus, and Belarus exports oil products to Russia. In line with the indicative balance of fuel and energy sources in 2015, Russia has to deliver 23 million tonnes of oil to Belarus. Belarus, in turn, has to export 1.8 million tonnes of motor gasoline to Russia.

Belarus to attend WWER Regulators’ Forum
Belarus’ representatives will attend, for the first time, the Forum of the State Nuclear Safety Authorities of the Countries Operating WWER Type Reactors, BelTA learned from the communications and public information office of the Nuclear and Radiation Safety Department of the Belarusian Emergencies Ministry (Gosatomnadzor).

Belarus reduces oil export duties
The export duty on crude oil went down from $133.1 to $109.2 per tonne. The duty on straight-run gasoline made up $92.8 per tonne as against the previous $113.1 per tonne, commercial gasoline - $85.1 ($103.8).
