Belarus to reduce export duties on oil, oil products on 1 January
The export duty on crude oil will go down from $88.4 to $73.3 per tonne. The duty on straight-run gasoline will be reduced from $75.1 per tonne to $52 per tonne, with the export duty on commercial gasoline down from $68.9 to $44.7 per tonne.

Belarus' oil import up by 1.5% to 18.7m tonnes in January-October 2015
In January-October 2015 Belarus purchased oil worth $4.872 million. This corresponds to 71.6% of the crude oil costs paid by Belarus in January-October 2014. One tonne of crude oil cost $260 on average as against $368.9 in January-October 2014.

Belarus’ electricity export possibly unchanged in 2016
According to the source, this year Belarus has exported less energy than it did in 2014. About 200 million kWh of electricity went to the Baltic states, primarily to Lithuania. “I don’t think we can expect a major increase in electricity export now. I don’t think something will drastically change in 2016,” said the Chief Engineer.

Belarus expects prices for Russian gas to reduce by over $10 per 1m3
Vadim Zakrevsky noted that Belarus is now holding consultations with the Russian side to discuss the possibility to reduce the gas prices and to calculate their final size on the border. “We have grounds to say so,” the deputy energy minister said.

Russian company TVEL to supply nuclear fuel for BelNPP
“Together with the Russian side, we are drawing up a nuclear fuel supply agreement in line with the contract,” Belarusian Deputy Energy Minister Mikhail Mikhadyuk noted. The agreement is expected to outline the terms for the initial load of nuclear fuel and the first reload.

Belarus expects lower Russian gas price as from 1 January
“We believe that there are all reasons to say that as from 1 January the price for [Russian natural] gas should be considerably reduced. Although it is acceptable even now. To be precise, it is $142.37 per 1,000m3,” said Vladimir Semashko.
