Chinese company to make LED displays in Belarus

Minsk to host Techlabs Cup finals on 28 September
Finals of the international cyber festival Techlabs Cup will take place in Minsk on 28 September, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union Dmitry Voronyuk told media on 5 September.
BelTA has learned that the final stage of Eastern Europe’s largest cyber sports festival will take place in Belarus for the first time. The event will take place in Minsk’s Sports Palace. The finals will last for 12 hours, the event is unparalleled in Belarus, noted Dmitry Voronyuk.

BelAZ trucks for Australian company Rio Tinto
BelAZ was granted the capability to sell its vehicles after taking measures to comply with requirements of Australian customers for mine dump trucks. Once compliant, OAO BelAZ was inscribed into the list of suppliers of heavy-duty mining vehicles of the company Rio Tinto, BelTA has been told. BelAZ Deputy Director General for Marketing and Export Policy Kirill Kazachenko said that BelAZ is ready to satisfy Rio Tinto’s demand for mine dump trucks in Australia by 100%.

Turkey’s major universities interested in cooperation with NASB
Turkey’s leading universities are interested in cooperation with the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (NASB), said Rector of Ataturk University Professor Hikmet Kocak during the signing of protocols on scientific cooperation between the NASB and Turkey’s three leading universities in Minsk on 28 August, BelTA has learnt.

Belarus, Mongolia to conclude agreement on cooperation in science and technology
Belarus and Mongolia are planning to conclude an agreement on cooperation in science and technology. The document will be signed by representatives of the State Committee on Science and Technology of Belarus and the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science of Mongolia during Belarus’ national expo in Mongolia on 5-8 September, BelTA learned from Yuri Lukashevich, Assistant to the Chairman of the State Committee on Science and Technology of Belarus.
