First Belarusian-Chinese human sciences forum in Beijing on 4 September
The forum will focus on topics, which are important for advancing Belarusian-Chinese cooperation. It will take place at premises of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS). The forum will focus on “The role and contribution of Belarus and China in World War Two”.

Gusakov: Belarusian science makes profit
“Funds invested in science bring results. The lowest cost recovery is revenue in 3-5 rubles per one ruble of expenditure. There are results of 20 and more rubles per one ruble of expenses. Budgetary funds make one fifth of what the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (NASB) needs. The rest the science should earn itself. Today the NASB makes profit. This organization brings results. Investment in science is always profitable, cost-effective and efficient. This tendency can be seen both in Belarus and all over the world,” said Vladimir Gusakov.

Belarus ready to build up presence in India via joint ventures, R&D centers
Belarus and India pay quite a lot of attention to the implementation of joint projects, noted the head of government. In particular, the number includes the project to reconstruct Grodno cogeneration plant No. 2. Apart from that, a number of projects in the pharmaceutical industry are being implemented with assistance of Indian companies. Belarus, Russia sign agreement to develop remote sensing satellite
The Russian corporation VNIIEM and the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (NASB) signed an agreement on developing and operating a satellite for the high-resolution remote sensing of the Earth. The document was signed during the international aviation and space salon MAKS 2015, BelTA learned from the press service of the Russian space agency Roscosmos.
