First unit of Belarusian nuclear power plant reconnected to power grid
The first unit of the Belarusian nuclear power plant was connected to the power grid at 12:33 on 9 November after scheduled maintenance and additional tests were finished. The unit is gradually increasing its output. It is now at 400MW.

Viktor Karankevich said: “The first unit is now going through a scheduled preventive repair. Nuclear power plants undergo such repairs every year. It is a common practice. The repair is supposed to end in July and the unit will be once again reconnected to the power grid and will reach the rated output.”
