Belarusian nuclear power plant’s first unit’s economic effect estimated at Br1bn
Viktor Karankevich said: “Since the first unit of the Belarusian nuclear power plant was connected to the national power grid on 3 November 2020, it has generated 9.3 billion kWh of electricity, which allowed substituting 2.4 billion m3 of natural gas. The economic effect is close to Br1 billion.”
