Belarus raises oil export duties
The export duty on crude oil went up from $105.8 to $130.8 per tonne. The duty on straight-run gasoline is now $111.1 per tonne as against $89.9 per tonne before, commercial gasoline is now $102 ($82.5). The export duty on light and medium distillates is $62.7 ($50.7). The same duty is applied to gas oil, benzene, toluene, xylene, lubricants, and other oils.

Belarusian nuclear safety agency to expand cooperation with WENRA

Belarus, China to sign agreement on industrial park electrification
Belarus and the People’s Republic of China will sign an agreement on the construction of an electrification system at the Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park, says Council of Ministers’ Resolution No.232 of 26 March 2015 concerning the exchange of letters of the agreement between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the People’s Republic of China on the construction of an electrification system at the Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park, published on the National Legal Internal Portal on 31 March, BelTA has learned.

Belneftekhim welcomes USA’s decision to lift sanctions against Belorusneft

Belarus pays for oil from Russia in Russian rubles
“The overall majority of payments for the Russian oil are made in Russian rubles. There are no proposals (to convert them into U.S. dollars - BelTA),” Igor Lyashenko said. In his words, the oil price is set in the U.S. dollars with the conversion according to the official exchange rate. Igor Lyashenko did not specify the date when Belarus started paying for the Russian oil in the currency of the Russian Federation.

Belarusian oil products delivered to Russia in January-February as agreed
“Naturally the cost of oil affects revenues from export. As of 1 January Belarusian oil refineries have to buy oil in conditions of adjusted taxation of the Russian oil industry. Considering the present oil cost oil processing terms have been worsened by roughly $20 in comparison with the previous year,” said the Belneftekhim head.
