Belarus revenues from oil export duties below expectations
This year’s revenues of Belarus’ state budget from customs duties on oil products made from Russian oil may be lower than the forecasts made in 2014. The information was released by Belneftekhim head Igor Lyashenko when asked how much money Belarus can get from export duties on oil products taking into account the state of affairs on the oil market, BelTA has learned.

Russian oil to satisfy Belarus’ demand in 2015
“As for hydrocarbons, at present we fully satisfy our demand with supplies from the Russian Federation,” said the Deputy Prime Minister. This year’s fuel and energy balance has been signed, with Belarus expecting to get 23 million tonnes of oil. According to Vladimir Semashko, the volume will be sufficient to keep Belarusian oil refineries operating at 100% of their capacity. “We will have only Russian oil and it is profitable due to the minimal transportation costs and certain preferences,” he stated.

Belarusian Energy Ministry considering projects in Venezuela
According to the source, cooperation with Venezuela is fruitful as part of contracts that envisage the installation of gas service in populated localities in Venezuela, the training of Venezuelan specialists, and the designing of gas networks. BelTA has been told that a contract for the delivery of 11,000 sets of equipment that will convert automobiles from using gasoline to liquefied gas has been completed. The contract was worth about $8 million.

Belarusian enterprises for building second nuclear station in Russia’s Kursk Oblast
“Our delegation, heads of our communications enterprises, visited Kursk Oblast in December 2014 and held negotiations.
