Expert: Belarus can take its pharma industry to the next level
“International cooperation is one of the strategies to develop the Belarusian pharmaceutical industry. If I was asked a year ago whether it was possible to set up new innovative manufacturing facilities in Belarus and launch the production of new-generation medicines, my answer would be definitely negative. Over the past 12 months, however, I have visited a number of new companies of Russia, including Biocad. I saw that with certain efforts and the rightly-chosen strategy and approaches everything is possible. Using the experience of the neighbors that are interested in developing cooperation, Belarus may become a state with a well-developed pharmaceutical industry,” Alexei Sychev said.

Belarus envisaged as Europe’s pioneer of electric transport development
“The government has set up a taskforce in charge of working out proposals for electric transport development in our country. In several years we are going to commission the decent electricity generating capacity of the Belarusian nuclear power plant. As you know a nuclear power plant cannot adjust its output radically and has to keep it constant. At night Belarus will have a large volume of electricity to spare. As far as electric cars and the relevant recharging stations are concerned, we can be kind of pioneers among European countries,” said the Prime Minister.

"For example, in 2016-2017 our college will need thousands of online tutors. This applies only to academic programmes, without taking into account certificate programmes,” he said. By the way, Magna Carta Oxford Business School offers the Effective Online Tutoring Programme, which is a programme of occupational retraining.
