Belarus mulls over law on ecological farming
Speaking about so-called alternative farming, Mikhail Rusy noted that a group of farmers in Belarus are working in the area. “We should support the farmers,” Mikhail Rusyi said adding that biological farming is expensive. Everything should be cultivated with the help of organic fertilizers.

The International Telecommunication Union has released an annual report titled as Measuring the Information Society. In accordance with the information and communication technologies development report Belarus is ahead of Russia and Kazakhstan and occupies the 38th position with its index at 6.89, said the press service.

Belarusian human lactoferrin suggested for dietary supplements
Alexander Budevich remarked that scientists from the Physiology Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the Genetics and Cytology Institute of the Academy, medical institutions are now involved in the research into the qualities of human lactoferrin extracted from goat milk. Many useful qualities of lactoferrin have been found. “It is necessary to determine the list of products, which can be manufactured using lactoferrin extracted from goat milk. It is a new organic substance, not a product of biochemical industry,” he stressed.

Ex-USSR countries eager to copy Belarusian cashless payment system ERIP
Sergei Dubkov did not rule out the possibility that Belarusian experience may be borrowed by other post-Soviet countries. Taking part in the forum were delegations of the central banks, which take a strong interest in the technological capabilities of the Belarusian payment system and are willing to create similar systems in their own countries. “Naturally we are ready to help the colleagues, consider the integration of the systems the colleagues will create with our own,” noted the official.
