Synchronized digital queue booking for Belarusian-Polish border
Suggestions have been made to synchronize the system for digital booking of queue spots at the Belarusian-Polish border. The information was released by Jacek Kapica, Polish Deputy Finance Minister, Director General of the Polish Customs Service, after a working meeting of the heads of the Belarusian and Polish customs services at the automobile border checkpoint Kozlovichi on 16 July, BelTA has learned.

First components of Belarus’ Antarctic station to be delivered to Antarctica in December
“The deadlines for delivering the first components for the construction of the Belarusian Antarctic station have been finalized today at the meeting of the Belarus-Russia working group tasked to implement the agreement on bilateral cooperation in Antarctica,” Alexei Gaidashov said.

Russian polar explorers invite Belarusian researchers to study Lake Vostok together
The scientists are determined to drill down to Lake Vostok for the second time during the Antarctic expedition this year. “Now the winter is in full swing in Antarctica, while the summer will last from December to February. We will do it in the summer, as ice will melt during this period,” Valery Lukin said.

Belarus, France in talks over project in pharmaceutical industry
In addition, Belarus is in talks with the French partners over the project to organize a production of detached equipment for farm machines at one of the enterprises in Belarus. "Talks have already been held with a number of Belarusian companies that can take part in this project. Japanese companies actively invest in Belarusian IT sector
“We have seen a significantly increase not only in the export of Belarusian goods to Japan but also in the amount of Japanese investments into the economy of our country. For example, Rakuten Inc., one of the world's largest e-commerce companies, has recently bought the popular messenger Viber, in the development of which the Belarusians participated, for $900 million. Ultra-high spatial resolution Earth probing data provider now available in Belarus
The Committee in association with the Belarusian agricultural aerial phototopography enterprise BelPSHAGI has commissioned a digital topographic widescreen aerial scanning sensor ADS100 made by the Swiss company Leica Geosystems AG. Now BelPSHAGI is Belarus’ only provider of ultra-high spatial resolution remote Earth probing data.
