Rumas: Belarus’ pharmaceutical sector will not be hurt by EEU common drugs market
Belarus’ pharmaceutical sector will not be hurt by the common drugs market envisaged in the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), Chairman of the Development Bank of Belarus, member of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission Sergei Rumas said at the meeting of the House of Representatives’ permanent commission on international affairs on 3 October, BelTA has learned.

Export potential of Belarus-Germany research companies estimated at $100m
The export potential of Belarus-Germany joint ventures working in the field of science and technology is estimated at up to $100 million, Chairman of the State Committee for Science and Technology of Belarus Alexander Shumilin said as he met with German MPs Oliver Kaczmarek and Rene Rospel during the visit of the German scientific delegation to Minsk, BelTA learned from the press service of the State Committee for Science and Technology of Belarus.

Belarus, Lithuania to cooperate on EU Horizon 2020 program
Belarus and Lithuania plan to cooperate on the EU Research and Innovation Program Horizon 2020. The relevant agreements were reached during the eighth meeting of the Belarusian-Lithuanian commission on cooperation in science and technology, BelTA learnt from the State Science and Technology Committee of Belarus.

Interactive game to study Maksim Bogdanovich creative works
School students will be able to study the creative works of Maksim Bogdanovich with the help of a computer game, House of Secrets, created under an international project, The Virtual Past is a Keystone for the Future of Museums, of the cross-border cooperation program Lithuania-Latvia-Belarus 2007-2013, BelTA learnt from coordinator of the project on Belarus’ behalf, worker of the Grodno History and Archeology Museum Svetlana Rapetskaya.

Union State bison breeding program to get RUB600 million
Almost RUB600 million will be allocated for the Belarus-Russia Union State program with the focus on the formation of an optimal areal of the European bison as a guarantee for its long-term presence (Roadmap for Bison), Counselor of the Department for Economic and Sectoral Programs of the Union State Permanent Committee Gennady Vanyukov told media on 2 October, BelTA has learned.
